    i am so very pleased to release the official video for my song missing.

    this is my first music video everrr and i am super psyched on it. so many thank yous to DESCRIBE THE FAUNA and their team. so much love. ahh.

    looks like i’ve fallen into a habit of posting these on mondays. weeeird. this photo comes from my friend christina. i had this little guitar part/chorus idea and i paired it with this photo; to help me focus on a feeling and complete the song. sometimes life is a bit overwhelming, you get distanced from normalcy, you wallow in that state. i find you just gotta relax, take things one at a time, and get back on the horse!

    this song falls somewhere in those feelings/ideas.

    hey all. hope you are well. i wrote and recorded this a few hours ago today. i really love this photo from my friend sam. one of my favorite things about art/music is the juxtaposition and presentation of different feelings, images, etc. 

    to me, this photo has a happiness, and a sadness. it feels vast, yet immediate and up close. has a definite beauty, but also an uncertainty.

    sam is a great friend. the kind of friend you can have great talks with.

    here we go #3!

    this photograph comes from my dear friend Colleen in seattle. it is quite lovely yes? i love it, i would put it on my wall. i wrote this song after a strangely overwhelming and isolated week. the photo helped me put what i was feeling to music and get it out there. and i now like the song quite a bit!

    this is all quite timely as well because i met Colleen around a year ago when i was in seattle. time flys people!
